In order to succeed in this online course, you must be comfortable working with technology. At a minimum, you must possess the following technical skills:
- Ability to use the Internet in an effective and efficient manner, including installation and management of browser plug-ins and add-ons.
- Basic knowledge about the operation of a computer, file management, and software installation.
- Working knowledge of the Canvas learning management system.
- Ability to proficiently search the web for information
- Ability to download and print information from websites
- Ability to download, view, and/or print PDF files

Course Policies
Attendance Policy:
Lab attendance is mandatory. You must be part of a lab group and work with a lab partner for some of the labs. You will need to attend all lab sessions, just enough lab sessions to find a lab partner.
Grading Turnaround Time:
All completed assignments will be graded no later than 2 days from the submission date, and sooner when possible.
Late Work Policy:
Late work (without permission from instructor) will be penalized. 10 % per day for a maximum of 50% off for late work.
Incomplete Policy:

Overview of Assignments
Taking Proctored Assessments
There are 5 proctored assessments in this course. The exams are online partially in Canvas and Partially in Sapling. 4 Exams are mandatory, and the final is optional and replaces your lowest exam grade. The proctored assessments will be multiple choice and long answer format based primarily on lecture and homework. There will be no make-ups. If a proctored assessments is missed or a student does poorly on a proctored assessment, the grade on the Optional Final will replace the lowest exam grade.
