In order to succeed in this online course, you must be comfortable working with technology. At a minimum, you must possess the following technical skills:
- Ability to use the Internet in an effective and efficient manner, including installation and management of browser plug-ins and add-ons.
- Basic knowledge about the operation of a computer, file management, and software installation.
- Working knowledge of the Canvas learning management system.
- Ability to proficiently search the web for information
- Ability to download and print information from websites
- Ability to download, view, and/or print PDF files

Course Policies
Attendance Policy: Students are expected to work in this course two or more times per week. The instructor can view how much time you spend on assignments. Students are required to fully participate in the various course assignments including, but not limited to, reading assignments, videos, ungraded and graded assignments, discussion boards, etc. Failure to actively engage on a regular weekly basis in this course will likely cause students to be unsuccessful in passing this class. The instructor has full discretion and determines who passes this class. The instructor expects all students to successfully complete all content including ungraded and graded sections. If you are having difficulty in this course, you should immediately email your instructor and describe your issue.
Late Work Policy: Points will be deducted for late work. Students are at risk of failing this course for late assignments. Students may submit ONE late assignment up to two days late. The midterm and final exams MUST BE SUBMITTED ON TIME.
Grading Turnaround Time:
All completed assignments will be graded no later than seven days after the due date, and sooner when possible.
